NEW YORK (KRON) — Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump Tuesday morning at the Trump Tower in New York.

The rapper was seen walking into the Trump Tower for his 15-minute face-to-face meeting the President-elect, according to TMZ.

Trump says he and West talked “life” in Trump Tower. The two posed for photos after their meeting Tuesday.

TMZ reported that the meeting was at Kanye’s request and that Trump had agreed to it.

When asked why the musician was visiting, Trump said the two were “just friends” and called West a “good man.”

The two did not answer questions on whether West would perform at Trump’s inauguration in January.

West stood silently next to Trump. Asked why he wasn’t speaking, West said: “I just want to take a picture right now.”

West was recently hospitalized in Los Angeles after a nervous breakdown that caused him to cancel the rest of his tour.

Last month West announced that he would have voted for Trump. He made the announcement during a concert in San Jose. He also called Trump a “genius” during a political rant just days before he was hospitalized.
