COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Leave it to Las Vegas to find a way to bet on everything.
As of today, you can now vote on who you think will be the next president of the United States in 2020 through online sports betting website Bovada.
It’s no surprise that politicians lead the list. President-elect Donald Trump is already the odds-on favorite even before he’s started his first day in office. Vegas odds currently have him with 2-1 odds to win a second term.
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Vice President-elect Mike Pence have 10-1 odds followed by First Lady Michelle Obama with 12-1 odds. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are both listed with 20-1 odds and Ohio Governor John Kasich has 40-1 odds.
Then the list gets interesting.
Kanye West has 100-1 odds of becoming the next president of the United States. The rapper, mogul and “fashion designer” had previously suggested he might run, but he seems to be making the possibility a reality.
“When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views,” West said in a BBC Radio interview this week “I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the (the) truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time to somehow make a difference while I’m still alive, I’m all for it.”
Twitter fans are already uniting hoping it becomes a reality.
