Jogger with baby stroller robbed at knifepoint in Rohnert Park

ROHNERT PARK (KRON) — A woman who was jogging with a stroller and baby was robbed at knife-point on a Rohnert Park creek path, according to investigators on Wednesday.

The victim told investigators she was on Hinebaugh Creek Path at around 6 p.m. Tuesday when a man with a knife approached her and said “Give me what’s important to you.”

Public safety officers say the women gave the man the $14 she had, but then he grabbed her wrist and tried to pull her. The women tells officers she kicked the man in the groin area, which prompted him to

run off without looking back.

The attacker is described as a black man between 35 and 40 years old, around 6 feet 4 inches with a heavy build and short hair. Investigators say he was wearing a blue shirt and dark jeans and had a gold hoop in his right ear.
