‘Jeopardy!’ Alex Trebek has announced on Wednesday that he has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer.

The 78-year-old has been the host of Jeopardy! since 1984.

In the past, Trebek has dealt with health issues, including mild heart attacks, a knee replacement and undergoing surgery for blood clots in his brain.

In his announcement on YouTube of his diagnosis, Trebek says “I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease.”

Trebek says he is ‘going to fight this’ and keep working, as he still has three more years left in his contract.

He ended his statement with “Keep the faith and we’ll win. We’ll get it done.”
