AUSTIN (KRON) — The California Bears upset the Longhorns in Texas 45-44 Saturday night.
Jared Goff broke the California all-time record for passing yards, beating the record of former quarterback Troy Taylor. Taylor had thrown for 8,126 yards during his college career.
Goff connected with Stephen Anderson on a 22-yard throw in the first quarter to place himself first in the record books. He also broke the record for most completes, giving him 21 school records.
Khalfani Muhammad had a huge game on the ground as well, totaling 164 yards in just 10 carries.
Goff threw for 3 touchdowns to go with his 268 yards.
