ENGLAND (KRON) — An airborne drunken fracas created by the new James Bond movie’s crew triggered an international air safety alert during a flight aboard the official 007 jet while in transit from England to Mexico, according to a report in the London Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail reported Sunday, the producers of the forthcoming “Spectre” film (watch the teaser trailer, below) confirmed an investigation was being made regarding the ‘intimidatory and frightening’ behavior on board the privately chartered Airbus 330 flying from Stansted Airport in Essex to Mexico City 11 days ago. The alleged behavior apparently compromised the safety of the plane and breached international aviation regulations.

Some of the reckless actions — behaviors apparently fueled by excess alcohol — carried out by the 150 movie crew passengers, according to the Bond film production company Eon, included:

— Removed a safety pin from one of the aircraft’s doors – which experts say could have resulted in a mid-air disaster;

— Vomited and urinated in the aisles;

— Flouted the aircraft’s strict no-smoking ban; and

— Verbally abused cabin crew and other passengers.

According to a worker at Toluca airport in Mexico City, the Daily Mail wrote, they said the mayhem had left the interior of the plane looking like a “pack of wild animals” had gone through it. The source added that vomit had been left inside the toilet and on the floor outside.

Apparently, the film’s crew (absent actor Daniel Craig and cast members) members were on their way to Mexico to film action sequences, including one that takes place during Mexico’s macabre Day of the Dead festival.

The Sam Mendes-directed movie starring Daniel Craig as 007 is scheduled to film in London, Italy, Morocco, Mexico and Austria.
