CUPERTINO (KRON) — Analysts are trying to figure out whether Apple’s Tim Cook has just given the public another hint that he is working on a self-driving car.
At a technology conference Monday night, he said the industry should be ready for “massive change” and said that autonomous cars will be “huge.”
However, some analysts said people should not get too excited about an Apple Car, suggesting that the company is more interested in making software for cars — not cars themselves.
Despite persistent rumors, Cook has never acknowledged exactly what is going on.
When asked a direct question last night, he sidestepped it by replying, “We will see what we do in the future.”
