DETROIT (KRON) – Golden State Warrior Draymond Green was arrested after an alleged altercation outside a restaurant in Michigan last weekend.
The alleged incident occurred on Sunday around 2:30 a.m. in the city where Draymond Green played for the Michigan State Spartans from 2008 to 2012.
East Lansing police on Wednesday released a report of the incident, reporting Green had a blood-alcohol level of 0.10 percent when he was tested later at a police station and he was not released until he was sober.
Michigan State football cornerback Jermaine Edmondson, told police that he was punched in the jaw by Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green in an incident that led to a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.
Edmondson told police he was “choked” the previous night by two men who were with the NBA player at a bar, and then he was punched by Green when he tried to talk to him on Sunday. An officer says he saw a “slap.”
According to police, there were no injuries and Green was released on a $200 bond.
Green is scheduled for arraignment July 20, and is facing a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.
