With Memorial Day weekend almost upon us, Friday is one of the busiest travel days of the year.
And according to TripAdvisor, Memorial Day travel is up by 6 percent this year.
Seventy-five percent of travelers plan to travel by car.
And the intense weather in the Sierra is only complicating things.
Squaw Valley’s resort closed on Friday due to the severe conditions and will possibly reopen tomorrow, weather permitting.
