SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The drama over an alleged “fight club” at the San Francisco jail has continued.
This time, it has led to a new lawsuit. Three former inmates have now filed a legal claim against the city and county of San Francisco, charging that deputies forced them to fight each other for entertainment.
The lawsuit said the men suffered cruel and unusual punishment, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The filing is a precursor to a lawsuit. The claims, first made in March, spurred an independent FBI investigation.
