NOVATO (KRON) — A vehicle collision in Novato causes a water to flow after a water line was damaged.
The Novato police department responded to a vehicle collision around 3:52 p.m., after a 54-year-old resident collided into a building in the 1500 block of South Novato Boulevard. The driver then crashed into a parked car next door.
Upon arrival crews were able to stop the flow of water, according to the Novato Fire Protection District.
Anthony Wiechers, 54, showed signs of being impaired and was arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence at the Marin County Jail.
Police said no one was injured during the crash, including Wiechers.
The collision resulted in minor damage to the building and moderate damage to the parked vehicle.
