Hundreds without power in Bay Area due to storm

SAN JOSE (KRON) — A storm that brought heavy overnight rain to the Bay Area left hundreds of residents without power Monday morning, according to PG&E.

Over 400 residents in the South Bay are without power due the storm, PG&E reported. The outage is just south of San Jose, near Saratoga.

Another 200 residents are waking up without power in the North Bay. PG&E reported outages in Mill Valley and Sausalito.

In the East Bay, 320 PG&E customers do not have power. Those outages are all over the East Bay, with multiple reported in Oakland, Danville and Concord.

There were no outages reported on the Peninsula or in San Francisco Monday morning.

PG&E has crews working to fix the problems and restore power in those areas.

The majority of the rain is over for Monday, with the exception of some scattered showers. Another storm is headed towards the Bay Area and PG&E warns residents of more power outages following the severe weather.
