TAVARES, Fla. – A Central Florida hospital was forced to throw out thousands of dollars in medication after a man urinated on the refrigerator it had been stored in, police said.
Clyde Brooks, 53, was brought to Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares on Wednesday, and at one point urinated on the walls and floor. Some of the urine got on the refrigerator, police said.
Doctors said the medicine inside the refrigerator was thrown out, due to possible contamination.
Brooks was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. He was released from the Lake County Jail after posting $2,000 bail.
