OAKLAND (BCN) — Police arrested a suspect in connection with a home invasion robbery in Oakland Sunday night.

Around 11:15 p.m. two men forced their way into a residence in the 2600 block of 14th Avenue and demanded money, according to police.

The victim subsequently flagged down an officer, who detained a Bay Point man and arrested him after being identified as one of the assailants.

The other suspect fled on foot and remains at large, police said.
