Highway 84 reopens after mudslides in Portola Valley

Mudslides temporarily shut down eastbound Highway 84 in San Mateo Friday morning.

At 6:28 a.m. California Highway Patrol issued a traffic alert for eastbound 84 just west of Highway 35.

This is in the Portola Valley area.

All lanes of eastbound 84 were closed.

By 7:30 a.m., all lanes were reopened and the traffic alert was cancelled.
