Three out of four lanes were closed Sunday morning due to a deadly crash in San Jose traveling northbound on Highway 280.
Traffic backed up for about half a mile for a few hours.
California Highway Patrol says one person died following the wreck involving at least four vehicles.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
There are no reports of any other injuries.
All lanes have reopened after Caltrans was actively working to clean up debris.
