SONOMA COUNTY (KRON) — State Highway 1 through Sonoma County is back open after closing for almost 6 hours.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-alert at 6:58 Monday evening, after a crash happened on Hwy 1, just north of Bodega Highway.
Crash team investigators looked over the scene of the fiery crash until almost 1 a.m.
After finishing the preliminary investigation, the road reopened at 12:45 a.m.
