BRENTWOOD (KRON) — Police in Brentwood responded to a bomb threat at Heritage High School this morning that turned out to be a hoax according to principal Larry Oshodi. According to police, the school received the bomb threat around 7:30 a.m. and determined it wasn’t credible after doing a sweep.
Summer school is in session this week, according to the Liberty Union High School District.
However, classes had not started yet for the day and Oshodi said there were only a handful of school employees and students in the building at the time of the call.
Police cleared the building and determined the call was a hoax as of around 9 or 9:30 a.m., Oshodi said.
