SF Bay Area (KRON) — Weather forecasters are predicting strong winds, rain and hail in the Bay Area through Tuesday.
This is according to the National Weather Service.
The organization says that south winds will pick up Monday, with rain spreading across the area late Monday.
Heavy rain is possible Monday night and early Tuesday.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for Tuesday and Tuesday evening.
Tuesday could also bring hail from some of the heavier showers and thunderstorms.
Snow is expected at elevations above 3,500 feet, with accumulations at elevations above 4,000 feet.
South winds may become strong and gusty starting Monday afternoon though early Tuesday.
Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible near the coast and the hills, especially Monday night.
Dry and mild weather should return by Wednesday afternoon.
