(KRON) — An 80-year-old Healdsburg masseuse has been arrested on sexual assault charges of a minor, Healdsburg police said.
Josafat Medrano Cornejo was taken into custody Tuesday at his residence on S. Fitch Road. He was arrested on charges of sexual assault and oral copulation of a minor under 14 years old, Sgt. Luis Rodriguez said.
According to Rodriguez, the boy’s mother had taken her son to Cornejo’s home to treat a leg injury. Cornejo was known as both a masseuse and healer in the community.
“During the session while the older male and the 12 year old were alone in a bedroom the older male reportedly touched the 12 year old victim on the penis in a sexual manner and orally copulated him,” Rodriguez said.
