A Home Depot in Morgan Hill was evacuated Sunday afternoon after a strong smell sent four people to the hospital.
At about 3:30 p.m. Cal Fire received a call about a strong order inside the store located at 860 E. Dunne.
Fire officials say eight people were sickened by the smell, and four of them were transported to a local hospital.
Their condition is unknown at this time.
A hazmat crew was dispatched to the scene, but they were unable to determine the cause of the smell through their detectors.
Shoppers were allowed back in the store around 5:58 p.m.
