Body cam footage has been released from the deadly officer-involved shooting that happened on Sunday night in Napa.
Around 11 p.m. Napa County Sheriff’s Deputy Riley Jarecki made contact with a driver, identified as Javier Hernandez Morales.
After asking Hernandez Morales to roll down the window, the footage shows he fired the first shot at Deputy Jarecki.
The deputy then fired back. Hernandez Morales was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Sheriff’s Department has reported that Jarecki was not physically injured in the incident.
