ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Hoosiers hoping to get a first glimpse of the new Republican vice presidential candidate had a chance Saturday.

The Donald Trump campaign hosted a “welcome home rally” in Zionsville for VP candidate and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. Trump himself was not in attendance.

The rally was set to begin at 5 p.m. at Indianapolis Executive Airport on E. State Road 32, but it was delayed until around 6 p.m.

Trump announced Pence was his running mate on Friday. On Saturday morning, the two appeared at a joint event in New York.
