Google closer to getting rid of traditional password

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — Do you have an excel spreadsheet to keep track of your passwords?

Well, that may soon be history.

Google is close to getting rid of the traditional password, according to CNN.

Google officials said the company is testing out a new password-replacement technology.

The program called Trust API would use multiple sensors in your smartphone to determine whether it is actually you trying to log in.

The sensors can scan your face, your voice, and even how you walk.

Officials said that Trust API could be available to Android developers around the world by the end of the year.
