SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A driver in South San Francisco noticed a suspected drunk driver and followed her. After he began trailing her, he witnessed her hit a parked car, and got out and took her keys.
The driver called 911 to report another driver swerving all over the road on Chestnut Avenue at El Camino Real at 10:21 p.m., police said.
The caller followed the car until she crashed into a car parked on Arroyo and Indio Drive.
While they waited for police, the caller confiscated the alleged drunk driver’s keys.
Police arrested the driver, identified as Maria Cuza, 64, of San Francisco, on suspicion of driving under the influence. Her blood-alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit of .08 percent, police said.
