SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Giants made a big splash in the off-season with their signing of Johnny Cueto and it seems like it’s paying off well. Cueto will start for the National League All-Stars on Tuesday at Petco Park.

Cueto has been dominant throughout the first half of the baseball season.

In 18 starts, he’s gone 13-1 with a 2.47 ERA and 4 complete games. Cueto has 115 strikeouts to 24 walks and a whip of 1.00. He’s only allowed 36 earned runs in 131.1 innings pitched.

The 30-year-old was an All-Star in 2014. This is his second trip to the game.

Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey, and Brandon Belt will also represent the orange and black in San Diego.
