SAN JOSE (KRON) — Firefighters and utility crews are at a house fire and gas leak in San Jose, according to a PG & E spokesperson.
Around 5:40 p.m., firefighters were called to the 1000 block of Woodview Place in San Jose for a house fire.
After learning of a gas leak, PG & E was called at 5:57 p.m. Crews with the utility company arrived at 6:13 p.m., according to spokesperson Jacqueline Ratto.
As of 7:22 p.m., the fire was still active. The flow of gas was shut off a the house on fire as well as a neighboring house.
Ratto said that it’s currently unclear whether the fire was caused by the gas leak.
