Police went door-to-door in San Francisco Monday morning, telling people on the ground-level to evacuate because of a gas leak.
The leak cam from a construction site on Filbert St. and Van Ness Ave.
These were the specific blocks affected:
- 2500 and 2600 blocks of Van Ness
- 1400 and 1500 blocks of Filbert
Everyone on the street level was ordered to evacuate.
Those on a second story or higher, you were advised to a shelter in place.
By 11:15 a.m. the leak was taken care of and evacuation and shelter in place orders were lifted.
All residents can return home.
