GALLERY: Dozens killed after truck drives through Bastille Day crowd in Nice, France

NICE, France (KRON) – Eighty-four people are dead after a truck runs through a crowd during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, France, CNN reports.

A truck drove onto the sidewalk and plowed through a crowd of revelers who’d gathered to watch the fireworks in the French resort city of Nice in what officials and eyewitnesses described as a deliberate attack. There appeared to be many casualties.

There were “bodies everywhere” after a truck hit the crowd in Nice, the Associated Press reports.
