PALO ALTO (KRON) — The Buena Vista Mobile Home Park in Palo Alto, may get a reprieve.

On Monday night at a city council meeting, funds were approved to set aside money for affordable housing.

In the motion, the city manager is told to set aside $8 million plus an additional $6.5 million to help preserve the park.

Residents of the park have been left wondering what their future will be.

Buena Vista has over 100 mobile homes, and is home to around 400 people.

The park is considered one of the last patches of affordable housing in the area.
