TAHOE (KRON) — A fresh flake delivery was sent to Heavenly Mountain Resort, Kirkwood Mountain Resort, and Northstar California yesterday evening. The snow continued piling up throughout the night, and now all three resorts are opening up more terrain and grooming select runs.
The resorts “are having an incredible start to the season,” Senior Communications Coordinator, Anna Jacobson said in a press release.
Here’s what she says to expect in each resort:
• Heavenly Mountain: 9-18 inches of fresh snow with 5 lifts open and 5 runs
• Kirkwood Mountain: 14-16 inches of fresh snow with 2 lifts open and 8 runs
• Northstar California: 13 inches of fresh snow, with 7 lifts and 18 runs top to bottom, 13 groomedEpic Season Passes are available until Dec. 4th.
