Fremont Street at the Salesforce Transit Center will remain closed for another week, according to the Transbay Joint Power Authority.
Authorities announced Wednesday that Fremont Street between Mission and Howard won’t reopen until October 17.
The Transbay Transit Center and Fremont Street were forced to shut down about two weeks ago when two cracked beams were found at the center.
The temporary Transbay Terminal, which is about two blocks away, is being used during the closure.
