FREMONT (BCN) — Police in Fremont are investigating a robbery that led to a battery at a retail store last week.

Officers responded at 7:20 p.m. Friday to a retail store in the 43500 block of Christy Street on a report of a robbery that had occurred earlier in the evening.

Police said three suspects entered the retail store and stole approximately $750 worth of shoes.

When employees confronted the suspects, they battered two of the employees and fled in a black small-sized SUV with tinted windows, according to police.

The first suspect was described as a black woman with a medium build and medium-length black and red hair and wearing a pink hooded jacket, a black football jersey with a red 7 on it, black pants and black shoes, according to police.

The second suspect was described as black man with a thin build and black hair. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved sweater, light green pants and black shoes, police said.

The third suspect is described as a black woman with light skin and short black hair. She was wearing a black long-sleeved jacket, baby blue pants and tan shoes, police said.
