FREMONT (KRON) — Firefighters in Fremont made what might be their cutest rescue ever.
The crew with E58 spent part of their day rescuing a tiny kitten from a storm drain on Tuesday.

After being rescued, the little black cat with blue eyes snuggled in a warm sweater.
Officials with the fire department said that after being rescued, the kitten was adopted by the family who spotted him in the storm drain and called the fire department.
This isn’t the first time that the Fremont Fire Department has helped rescue furry friends.
On May 25, firefighters with Truck 57 rescued nine baby ducklings from a storm drain on Cedarwood. The crew said that during the rescue, the mama duck stayed close by and made sure her babies were rescued.
