CONCORD (BCN) — Concord city officials have opened a free 24-hour sandbagging station for residents, the officials said.

Pre-filled sandbags are available for seniors and people with disabilities. Arrangements to pick up pre-filled sandbags can be made by calling (925) 671-3448, according to city officials.

Two satellite sandbagging stations have also been opened. Those are located at the Lime Ridge Open Space off of Treat Boulevard and at Hillcrest Community Park off of Grant Street.

Residents are asked to bring their own bags and shovels.
