OAKLAND (KRON) — With skyrocketing housing prices in the Bay Area, a free house seems like a great deal.  Plus, they’ll pay you $20,000 to take it– but there’s a catch.  You have to relocate the house yourself.

The little white house, located at 52nd and Martin Luther King Jr. Way is currently owned by Children’s Hospital.  The Hospital wishes to expand, but the house on the property is in the way.

The house was built 81 years ago, and the hospital doesn’t have the heart to tear it down.

In addition to moving costs, another catch is that you need a lot to put it on.

But for those feeling motivated, it’s a great opportunity.  For those interested, contact UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital
