SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Former manager of the hip-hop group N.W.A. Jerry Heller has died at the age of 75 on Friday.

He represented several well-known musicians such as Black Sabbath, The Grass Roots, Otis Redding and more.

Heller was a controversial manager and accused by many for breaking N.W.A up.

He filed a $110 million lawsuit against the producers of “Straight Outta Compton” because of how they portrayed him in the movie.

Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were both among the producers.

Paul Giamatti was the actor that played his role in the film.
