DANVILLE (KRON) — A former Danville Middle school teacher was sentenced Wednesday on child pornography charges.
Mitchell Wolf was sentenced to more than five years in prison. Wolf worked as a math teacher at Diablo Vista Middle school since 2002.
The former teacher pleaded guilty back in July to possessing 50,000 files of the child pornography. After his release, he will be supervised for another 10 years and register as a sex offender.
Wolf’s computer use will be monitored, and in some cases, prohibited.
Wolf will begin serving his sentence on Jan. 4, 2016.
