A houseboat in Alameda where Tom Hanks once lived has hit the market for $600,000.
The Oscar winner confirmed on Twitter that he lived on the houseboat from 1973 to 1976.
The 1,152-square foot, two-story floating home has two bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms.
It was owned by his father, Amos Hanks, according to Realtor.com.
Hanks was born in Concord and went to Skyline High School in Oakland.
He’s now 62 years old which means he would have spent time on the houseboat from ages 17 to 20.
The houseboat is located at Barnhill Marina in the Alameda/Oakland Estuary.
