BAY AREA (KRON) — Tons of wet weather is set to hit the Bay Area this weekend. Scattered showers and moderate rain will take place starting early Saturday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Bay Area starting at noon on Saturday up until 11 p.m. Winds are expected to range from 25 to 40 miles per hour. There has already been reports of trees falling around the Bay Area. A high surf advisory has been issued too.

The National Weather Service also issued a Flash Flood Watch for the entire Bay Area starting at 2 p.m. Saturday and it will last until 10 p.m. Power outages are expected in some parts.
