(KRON) The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for the Niles Canyon area in Alameda County.
At 430 PM PST, stream gages on the Alameda Creek indicated minor flooding was occurring along the Alameda Creek in Niles Canyon with flooding also occuring upstream near Sunol.
Moderate to heavy rain is forecast to continue across the Alameda Creek basin through early evening which will result in continued flooding and could result in further rises on the creek.
