CONCORD (BCN) — Firefighters have knocked down a two-acre brush fire that temporarily closed a road in Concord early Wednesday morning.

A firefighter said a brush fire was reported shortly after midnight on Bailey Road near Myrtle Drive.

The fire was under control as of 1:53 a.m., and Bailey Road reopened at 2:25 a.m., according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
