FAIRFIELD (BCN) — Firefighters extinguished a structure fire Saturday night in Fairfield.
At 6:58 p.m., fire units were dispatched to the 2800 block of Marigold Drive for a report of a fire, according to fire officials.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the back of a home. A large shed in the backyard was burning and endangering the home, fire officials said.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. The home sustained some damage and the shed was a total loss.
No injuries were reported in the fire, fire officials said.
