UNION CITY (KRON) — Firefighters have extinguished a two-alarm structure fire in Union City Wednesday morning, according to a fire dispatcher.
Dispatch received a call around 6:07 a.m. about a fire at a one-story mixed-use strip mall in the 31000 block of Union City Boulevard, a fire dispatcher said.
The northbound direction of Union City Boulevard was closed as firefighters battled the blaze.
Alameda County Fire was able to contain the fire by 7:30 a.m.
No injured have been reported, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is actively being investigated.
