OAKLAND (KRON) — A firefighter is in the hospital after being injured while battling a blaze in Oakland, according to fire officials.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. on Courtland and Melrose.
The fire started in a car and spread to a garage.
Fire crews were able to get the fire under control by 8 a.m.
A firefighter was injured and transported to a hospital.
