A Sunnyvale cherry stand is preparing for its final weekend after being in business for nearly 120 years.
C.J. Olson’s fruit stand has been a part of the El Camino Real since the 1930’s and the family has farmed in the valley since 1899.
This season’s best sellers included dried apricots and chocolate-covered cherries.
Coming into the last weekend, Owner Deborah Olson has reminisced on things she will miss most.
“Our customers,” Olson said. “Our loyal customers and the friendships that we’ve made over the years with these families and their children.”
C.J. Olson’s will be open on Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 348 W. El Camino.
