It’s official… Feb. 2019 is the snowiest month recorded at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in Lake Tahoe.
As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, officials at the resort said they received another six inches bringing the measurement for the month of Feb. to 286 inches.
This beats the previous record-breaking month in Jan. 2017 by just four inches.
Officials say the storm is not over yet and they are expecting even more snow through the week.
This season, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows has had more than 45 feet of snow (543 inches).
