Authorities raided an Oakland Hills home Tuesday in connection with an ongoing investigation into several bank robberies, according to the FBI.

Alameda County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad, FBI San Francisco, and the Oakland Police Department searched the home on Stonebridge Drive after learning of a possible bomb at the residence.

Authorities found something that was rigged to look like a bomb but it was a fake, according to Alameda County Sheriff’s officials.

An FBI spokesperson said a man was arrested earlier Tuesday in a different location.

The FBI says there is no threat to the public’s safety.

Law enforcement did not release any further details.
