ANTIOCH (KRON) — A father and son were arrested in Antioch Thursday morning on suspicion of drug and firearm violations.

Harold McKneely, 51, and his son Emetrik, 22, were arrested after Contra Costa County sheriff’s conducted a search warrant at their home.

A search warrant was served at their residence in the 2800 block of Gentrytown Drive, sheriff’s officials said.

Officials found 2 pounds of marijuana, Xanax pills, cash, and three handguns. One of the guns was reportedly stolen.

This search warrant was served as part of an investigation by the Contra Costa County Anti-Violence Support Effort, which the sheriff’s office operates in concert with the California Department of Justice, California

Highway Patrol as well as Pittsburg and Walnut Creek police.

The men arrested are suspected of illegally transferring a firearm, possessing marijuana and stolen property as well as possessing firearms as a felon, sheriff’s officials said.

They were booked into Martinez Detention Facility. Harold Mckneely is being held on $390,000 bail and his son’s bail is set at $350,000, sheriff’s officials said.Bay City News contributed to this report
