UPDATE: All lanes are open on Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco Saturday morning after a fatal crash involving a pedestrian, according to the CHP.

The crash was reported around 5:50 a.m. on northbound Highway 280 at the southbound U.S. Highway 101 connector. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.

A Sig-alert was issued at 6:07 a.m. when officers closed the connector between the two highways. All lanes were reported clear by 7:52 a.m., according to the CHP.

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — The California Highway Patrol Saturday morning is reporting a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on Interstate Highway 280 at the U.S. Highway 101 connector in San Francisco.

The CHP has issued a Sig-alert because the northbound Interstate Highway 280 connector to northbound U.S. 101 is closed.

The connector is expected to remain closed until 8 a.m.

The collision was first reported at 5:43 a.m.
